Of course the string is getting shorter when you are playing higher notes on the guitar- you are shortining the part that is allowed to vibrate while playing! And in times of e-pianos and keyboards there are loads of people who never glimpsed into a real piano so I recommend to use a HARP as a a picture! Everybody knows how that looks like and the short strings are the thinner strings! If in doubt buy yourself a bottle of Guiness (and you can give youself a treat after excersising)!

I've been a piano/keyboard player for the most part of my life, i actually never grasped the concept of singing until one month ago. I started off struggling with singing A5. Today my vocal ranges from F2 to G6. My question to you Roger is this: Can i go any higher? I have tried as far as Bb6 but i cant hold the note, it feels like i shred my throat up. And to your video: AMAZING, i always warmed up with tracks starting from C6 until i reached G6 in another track. Your knowledge is worth gold.

@fmabigandbadfan I think that sound helps relax the throat and maybe helps air flow, so probably good to stick with it.
